Redline is independent study preparation software for ASE certification tests. It is a study aid. It is not an ASE product, is not affiliated with ASE, and does not certify anyone. Certificates, titles, seals, and ranks earned inside Redline are study milestones within the app and carry no professional or legal standing.
We work hard to make the content accurate and aligned with ASE's published test specifications, but we cannot guarantee you will pass any test. Test content, weights, and procedures change. Always confirm current specifications and register for testing at ase.com.
Content in Redline is written for test preparation, not as repair authority. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's service procedures and applicable safety requirements when working on a vehicle. Redline is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss resulting from work performed on any vehicle.
Subscriptions are billed in advance and are not refundable. Canceling stops future renewals and keeps your access through the end of the period you have already paid for, as described above. Plans that include a free trial are not charged at all if you cancel before the trial ends — that trial is the intended way to find out whether Redline works for you before any money changes hands.
Lifetime purchases are not refundable once the account has been used.
If you were billed in error — charged twice, charged after canceling, or charged for something you did not buy — email support@redlineprep.org within 30 days and we will put it right.
"Lifetime" means the operating life of the Redline service — not the purchaser's lifetime. A lifetime purchase gives you access to Redline, including certifications and content added later, for as long as we operate it, with no further payment.
We intend to run Redline indefinitely. If we ever have to discontinue it, we will give at least 90 days' notice by email to lifetime purchasers and provide a way to export your study progress before shutdown. A lifetime purchase does not create an obligation to operate the service for any fixed period, and does not survive the closure of the business.
Lifetime access is a founding-member offer limited to the first 100 purchasers. Once that number is reached the option is withdrawn, and anyone who already bought it keeps it.
You may use Redline for your own study and, with a shop license, for your employees' study. You may not:
All questions, explanations, reference content, artwork, and code in Redline are original works owned by Redline Prep and protected by copyright. The Redline name and mark are ours. Unauthorized copying or derivative use is prohibited and may be pursued.
ASE is a registered trademark of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. References to ASE, test names, and task areas are nominative, used solely to describe the tests this software prepares people for.
Redline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redline Prep is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including failure to pass any certification test.
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
