Redline Prep ("Redline," "we," "us") built this app for automotive technicians studying for ASE certification. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. The short version: your study data stays on your device, and we don't sell anything about you.
Your study progress is stored locally in your browser or app, not on our servers. That includes:
Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app erases this. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
If you contact us or request beta access: the name, email, and any details you submit. We use it to respond to you and to send beta updates. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers.
If you purchase a subscription: payment is handled by Apple, Google, or our payment processor. We receive confirmation that you have an active subscription. We never see or store your card number.
Basic site analytics: our host may log standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and traffic measurement.
Some optional features (custom lessons, deeper explanations, freshly generated question sets) send the topic you tapped to an AI service to generate a response. These requests contain only the study topic and cert involved. They do not include your name, email, or study history. The core app works entirely without these features.
Redline is intended for adults and students in automotive training programs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and note the change on this page.
